The Hyundai DHY8000SELR-T is a compact yet robust long-run diesel generator designed for standby power applications. With dual-voltage output (230V single-phase and 400V three-phase), this model is a highly versatile power solution ideal for workshops, garages, home use, or small commercial premises.

Powered by a 456cc 4-stroke air-cooled single-cylinder Hyundai diesel engine, the DHY8000SELR-T delivers:

• Rated output: Based on an 0.8 power factor for single-phase loads

• Fuel capacity: 25L diesel tank

• Run time: Up to 30 hours at light loads

• Fuel efficiency: Approx. 1L/hour, compatible with red diesel for lower running costs

This generator features multiple outlet options to support a variety of tools and appliances:

• 1 x 32A 230V single-phase socket

ATS Compatible for Seamless Power Backup

The DHY8000SELR-T supports Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) connectivity (ATS module sold separately). When installed, the generator will automatically activate during a mains failure and shut off when the mains supply returns—ideal for ensuring uninterrupted power without manual intervention.

Quiet Operation in Silenced Housing

Housed in a sound-insulated casing, this diesel generator operates at just 70dB @ 7 metres, keeping noise to a minimum for homes, offices, and workplaces.

Electric Start for Effortless Control

Includes electric key start and two-wire start function for integration with ATS systems or remote manual operation—no complicated procedures required.

Fitted With AVR for Stable Voltage Output

Equipped with an AVR-controlled alternator (Automatic Voltage Regulator), the DHY8000SELR-T helps maintain consistent voltage output, reducing the risk of damaging connected equipment. Note: not suitable for sensitive electronics—use a pure sine wave inverter generator for delicate devices.
